A token lock is about trust: lock part of your supply until a date, and anyone can verify you cannot dump right away. You are locking assets from your own wallet, and they do not come back before that date.

  1. Enter the token addressPaste the token you want to lock and the page reads back its name, symbol, decimals and your balance. Until decimals are read back, the lock amount field skips conversion so nothing gets miscalculated at 18 decimals.
  2. Enter the lock amountHow much you lock is up to you, but never more than you can afford to park — none of it comes out before the date.
  3. Pick the unlock dateChoose a clear date you can explain to people (6 months, 1 year), not an odd timestamp nobody remembers. Only future dates are accepted.
  4. Name the lock (optional)Give the lock a name (up to 200 characters), such as "Team allocation" or "Liquidity incentives", so you can tell it apart in My locks later.
  5. Approve and send it on-chainThe first lock of a given token needs an approval. Before you confirm, the page shows how much is locked and until when. Once the transaction lands, those tokens are bound by the contract rules.

Careful · You have to come back and unlock

The date passing does not send tokens back to your wallet: open My locks, find the entry and click Unlock. Amount and duration only move upward too — for a smaller position, wait for the unlock and lock again.
