Token Lock
Lock tokens until an unlock date — built for team allocations, community treasuries and any promise you want to prove on-chain.
What to lock
Enter the ERC-20 token address you want to lock. The lock contract holds the tokens until the unlock date, then you can withdraw them.
Important: If this token charges a transfer tax, pays holder rewards (including LP rewards), or limits how much one address can hold, whitelist or exempt the lock contract on this network first. Otherwise your lock may be taxed, miss rewards, or fail because it exceeds the holder limit.
Each network has its own lock contract. Use the address shown for the network you're on.
Stored on-chain. Optional — for example “Team lock” · 0/200 characters
Submit
The first lock needs one approval for the lock contract; if the allowance is already enough we lock right away.
Transaction status: idle
Token locker for ERC-20 tokens
A token lock puts a fixed amount of an ERC-20 token out of reach until the unlock date, and the record lives on-chain where anyone can verify it. Projects use it for team allocations, vesting and marketing wallets so buyers can check that a large part of the supply is not sitting in a wallet that can dump.
- Unlock date
- any future date, to the minute
- Later changes
- extend the lock or add more tokens to the same record
- Ownership
- each lock can be transferred to another address, or renounced
How it works
1. Connect a wallet and pick the network
The lock is created from your wallet, and you stay the owner of the lock record.
2. Enter the token address and the amount
Any ERC-20 works. The form reads the token decimals so you can type the amount the way you think about it.
3. Approve the tokens and choose the unlock date
Approving the lock contract is one transaction and creating the lock is the second. The lock can also be given a name, so your community can pick it out of the list at a glance.
4. Manage it in My Locks
Every lock you created is listed there — extend the unlock time, transfer lock ownership, or open the transaction on the explorer to prove the lock to buyers.
FAQ
- Can I unlock before the date?
- No. The unlock timestamp is written into the lock contract, so early withdrawal is impossible. Anyone can check the date on the block explorer.
- Where do the locked tokens go?
- They sit in the lock contract, not on the platform. We never hold a key to them.
- Can I extend the lock or move it to another wallet?
- Yes. From My Locks you can push the unlock time further out and transfer ownership of the lock record to another address.
- Does a token lock work for LP tokens?
- No — LP tokens need the liquidity locker instead. A token lock only accepts ordinary ERC-20 tokens.
