LP lock

An LP lock is a stronger trust signal than a token lock: the pool cannot be pulled. Where LP tokens come from, two ways to enter them, how much to lock, and how to unlock.

LP tokens represent a share of ownership in the pool: whoever holds them can pull the liquidity at any time. Lock them and you publicly commit that the pool cannot be pulled for that period — far more convincing than locking tokens alone.

  1. Get the LP tokens firstAdding liquidity gives you LP tokens. If you have never added liquidity, create the pool under Liquidity & Trading → Add / remove liquidity first.
  2. Enter the LP address (two ways)If you know the pair address, enter the LP token address directly. If you do not, enter the DEX router, the token address and the pair token address, and the tool works out the matching pair.
  3. Set the amount and the unlock dateThe amount is a number of LP tokens; click Max to lock everything you hold. Only future unlock dates are accepted. You can name this lock too, which makes bookkeeping easier later.
  4. Confirm on-chainThe page shows how much is locked, until when, and which pool it belongs to. Once the transaction lands, the LP sits in the contract and stays there until you unlock.

Tip · Can I still add liquidity after locking LP?

Yes. Adding more liquidity gives you new LP tokens that the earlier lock does not affect. To have the new portion show up as locked, lock it in a separate entry with its own name.

Careful · Unlocking is manual

When the date passes the LP does not return to your wallet by itself: open My locks, find the entry and click Unlock. Only then is the LP back in your wallet and you can remove liquidity.
