A new token is just a contract until it has a pool: put the token and a quote token into a DEX at some ratio, and that ratio becomes the opening price. This page does two jobs — add (the first add creates the pool) and remove.
- Enter the token and let the page read the pool and routerTokens launched here record their quote token and router in the contract: hit "Read quote token / router" and both fields fill in, with a note saying they came from the on-chain record. A standard token has no such record, so pick the quote token (usually WBNB) and the router (usually PancakeSwap V2) yourself.
- Enter both amountsIf a pool already exists, the two amounts convert from the current reserve ratio. On the first add there is no ratio to follow — the two amounts you enter set the opening price. Leave slippage blank or 0 for no minimum amounts.
- Approve, then addThe token gets approved to the router first. An ERC-20 quote token needs its own approval; a native quote (BNB) only approves the token and goes through addLiquidityETH. An LP rewards token with a native pool adds one wrap transaction — confirm each prompt as it comes.
- Once you hold LPAdding liquidity mints an LP token. If you want people to trust that you will not pull the pool, lock that LP for a while under Locks → LP lock — the LP is what gets locked, and it cannot come back before the unlock date.
- Remove liquiditySwitch to "Remove liquidity", paste the LP (pair) address and hit "Read pool" to see both tokens, the LP you hold and the expected return. Enter an amount or hit "All", approve the LP, then remove. You get both tokens back, not a single one.
Careful · Get the first add backwards and the price is wrong
With no pool there is no price to follow, so the ratio you enter is the opening price: too few tokens against too much quote and it opens ten times too expensive; the other way round is a giveaway. Add a small amount first, check the fill price on the DEX, then top up.
Tip · The other two ways to build a pool live on their own pages
"Create a V3 stable pool" takes a single-sided deposit into a narrow-range stable pair and charges 0.02 BNB per pool. "Create pool + snipe" bundles the pool creation with buys from many wallets and charges 0.005 BNB per address. The V2 page charges neither.
