Create a V3 stable pool

How to open a narrow-range pool for two price-pegged assets: picking the quote token, setting the price, why you only deposit the project token, and why tokens with transfer mechanics do not belong here.

A stable pool is for two assets that should always trade close to 1:1 — a project token against USDT, or two stablecoins. It opens a very narrow price range on PancakeSwap V3, so the liquidity concentrates in that band and the same money buys far more depth.

  1. Pick the quote tokenThe dropdown lists the common stablecoins on this chain. A V3 pool sorts the two tokens into token0 and token1 by address, so the field for 'how much quote token is one project token worth' always runs in that direction — you never have to work out which one is 0 and which is 1.
  2. Enter the token addressPaste the project token contract and the page reads its symbol and decimals. Until decimals come back, "Add liquidity now" stays grey — put an 18-decimal figure into a 6-decimal token and you deposit several orders of magnitude too much.
  3. Set the priceThis is the opening price: how much quote token one project token buys. A price far off the market can leave the whole position outside the range, unable to fill a single trade, so look at the market price first.
  4. Enter the amount to addOnly the project token side — hit "All" to use the balance you hold. This pool takes a single-sided deposit; V3 works the quote side out inside the range from the position itself, so you do not need to prepare half of it separately.
  5. Check the range and fee, then addThe range is computed from the price and the tick spacing (10 tick spacings by default), and the fee tier is fixed at 0.01%. Both are shown on the page — check the price direction one last time before you add.

Careful · Standard tokens only

Tokens with transfer tax, buy limits or a blacklist do not work in a stable pool: the V3 swap path moves the token one extra time, so the tax is charged again and the quote no longer matches what lands. Use a V2 pool for those.

Tip · Get the direction wrong and you start over

The worst outcome for a narrow-range pool is a price and a range pointing opposite ways: the range above the market but the price higher still, or the reverse. Either way the liquidity ends up one-sided, deposited into the side nobody wants. Confirm the direction before you build — fixing it afterwards is expensive.

Tip · Which chains work

The V3 pool-creation router is deployed on BNB Chain mainnet and testnet only; on any other chain the page says so up front. The fee is 0.02 BNB on mainnet, and on testnet you pay whatever test price the page shows.
