Ownership Tool
Transfer ownership to a new address, or renounce it for good — both are one transaction, and renouncing cannot be undone.
Token contract
Paste the token address, read the on-chain owner, and double-check before you act.
Transfer ownership
Hand contract ownership to another address; that address manages the contract from then on.
Renounce ownership
After this the contract has no owner, permanently — the change can't be undone. It's usually done to prove the team can no longer change the contract.
Transaction status: idle
Renounce or transfer contract ownership
This ownership tool hands control of a contract to another address or gives it up permanently. Renouncing is the strongest signal a project can send: after it, nobody can change the fees, mint more tokens or blacklist an address — including you.
- Two actions
- transfer ownership to another address, or renounce it for good
- Irreversible
- after renouncing, mint / fee / blacklist functions are gone for everyone
How it works
1. Paste the contract address
The tool reads the current owner first, so you can confirm you are about to change the contract you meant.
2. Choose the action
Transfer ownership to another wallet, or renounce it so the contract has no owner at all.
3. Read the warning before signing
Renouncing cannot be undone. Mint, fee and blacklist functions become permanently unavailable to everyone.
4. Sign the transaction
One transaction, and the change is visible on-chain immediately — that is what lets buyers verify it themselves.
FAQ
- Is renouncing ownership reversible?
- No. With no owner left there is nobody who can call the management functions again, which is exactly why buyers treat it as a safety signal.
- Which functions stop working after renouncing?
- Everything the owner controls: changing fees, minting, limits, blacklists and usually the trading switch.
- Should I transfer instead of renouncing?
- Transfer if you still need to manage the token; renounce if you want to prove you no longer can. You can always renounce later, but not come back.
- Does it work on any contract?
- It works on contracts that expose a standard owner interface. If a contract has no owner function, there is nothing to transfer.
