Read owner() to see who is in charge right now. Transferring needs the right wallet connected. Renouncing is irreversible and needs a checkbox first.

  1. Read the current owner firstEnter the token address and read owner() to see who controls it. Check before you change anything, so you don't discover afterwards that the wrong wallet was connected.
  2. Transfer ownershipA transfer needs a connected wallet, and only the current owner can make one. Enter the new address and confirm on-chain. Once it lands, you no longer have admin rights.
  3. Renounce ownership (irreversible)After renouncing, nobody has admin rights — the contract has no owner, permanently. The page makes you tick "I understand renouncing ownership cannot be undone" before it will submit. That is not a formality: this step genuinely has no way back.

Never do this · After you renounce, no parameter can change

You end up able to do exactly what any holder can: transfer tokens. No fee changes, no blacklist additions, no trading switch. It is often used to prove the project won't rug — decide beforehand whether the project still needs changes later.
