Repair Liquidity
Nudge a V2 pair back to its target reserves without removing liquidity — useful after large buys or sells.
Pair and target reserves
You enter the target total reserves for the pool. The contract only tops up the gap between the target and the current reserves, and mints the LP to your wallet. The target has to be above the current reserves or the contract reverts.

Repair liquidity — rebalance a V2 pool
Repair liquidity fixes a V2 pool whose reserves no longer match by withdrawing the position and re-adding it at the current ratio. That gets the pair quoting sensible prices again instead of leaving a pool that can be drained by anyone who notices the imbalance.
- What it does
- brings a V2 pair back to its target reserves when the price has drifted
- What it saves you
- you do not have to pull the liquidity out to fix it
FAQ
- When do I need to repair a pool?
- When the two reserves are far out of line with the market price, usually after a large one-sided trade. The tell is a quote that no longer looks like the price on other venues.
- Is it one transaction?
- Removing and re-adding are separate steps, each with its own gas cost and the platform fee shown in the form.
- Will I get exactly the same amounts back?
- Not necessarily. The pair is re-added at the current ratio, so the mix of the two tokens changes even though the total value does not.
